Located 150 metres below ground in Britain’s largest working salt mine, DeepStore provides a naturally stable environment—cool, dry, and free from ultraviolet light, Vermin and pollutants. This ideal setting ensures optimal long-term preservation for even the most delicate of artefacts.
Items stored at DeepStore benefit from 24/7 security, Archive perfect climate control, and full traceability through advanced inventory systems. Crucially, Genus can arrange for digitisation at your own facility or transport them under secure, tracked conditions to our in-house studios before moving them into secure storage. This means that collections can be digitised without compromising their safety, condition, or chain of custody.
