Introducing – Museum quality artwork from your archive.

One of the most frequent things that we, here at Genus, ask clients is what they plan to do with their archive once it is digitised?

Our Design, print and publishing department has always been a one-stop shop for design creation and print fulfilment. Now as we expand our available offerings further, we are better equipped than ever to help you share the very best of your collection.

Our print fulfilment service enables you to monetise your collection, creating custom pieces of art and merchandise from the content already digitised from your archive.

From business cards and festive greetings cards all the way up to high-quality posters and prints, our design team works alongside you to create a truly individual piece of art, print it in house, pack and dispatch directly to the buyer complete with a certificate of authenticity.

An Iconic Collaboration

We’ve been collaborating closely with the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust to bring their iconic automotive history back to life. Our team produced an authentic reproduction of the Jaguar XJ-S sales brochure, complete with hand-drawn translucent tissue overlays and carefully matched colour tones to mirror the original as exactly as possible. Not only does this create a copy to be handled and explored more frequently than a fragile original, but it means that fans and supporters can own their own part of the heritage.

To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the XJ-S, we also designed an accompanying commemorative book available in both glossy softcover and elegant hardcover editions, finished with golden corners for a premium touch.

The newest jewel in our production crown, however, is our museum-quality Giclée printer.

Designed with fine art and longevity in mind, giclée prints use archive-quality paper and pigment-based inks to recreate the exact colours used in the original artworks. Giclée artwork is produced at a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch), capturing the subtle differences in colour and brushwork. When replicated onto acid-free, PH-neutral paper, giclée prints can last over a hundred years under the right conditions without fading or discolouration.

Those who joined us at the NEC Classic Car show from the 7th-9th of November would have seen the first glimpse of some of the limited-run Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust giclée prints, featuring classic artwork originally presented for a calendar in 1988, originally illustrated by John Beecham.

With their smooth, clean colours printed at 1440dpi and unmistakeable classic designs, these prints garnered a lot of attention over the course of the show, with many asking if they could buy them from us then and there!

The prints will be available in a limited run of only 25 for purchase from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Store (found HERE) along with the other items created for the collection.
