Zeutschel CAM – 150 and 250MP

The new Zeutschel cameras set new standards in professional digitisation and studio photography. By combining one-shot and advanced pixel-shift technology, they deliver exceptional colour fidelity, extraordinary detail, and extremely high resolutions. Thanks to subpixel-precise shifts on the X and Y axes as well as multiple exposures, true RGB colour values are captured as every pixel colour is measured rather than calculated. The result is moiré-free, precise, and consistent images with resolutions up to gigapixels.
This is complemented by a fully integrated, ISO-compliant workflow with automatic calibration of exposure, white balance, shading, and lens correction. This produces reproducible, standard-compliant results that not only meet but exceed requirements such as FADGI, Metamorfoze, and ISO 19264-1—ideal for archives, museums, and demanding high-end digitisation projects.
OS A XL and XXL
The OS A XL/XXL was developed precisely for the demands of perfection and practicality. The latest generation overhead scanner is based on a unique approach that enables consistently brilliant results.
The heart of the OS A overhead scanner is the OmniScan 12 software which calibrates all camera settings and image processing at the push of a button. It enables one to optimally set quality parameters such as exposure, colour rendering and shading. If the project settings such as format, light or lens change, the user simply triggers the automatic recalibration of the system in the software. This calibration is possible at any time and ensures that you receive reproducible, constant results of the highest quality.
The OS A XL/XXL also impresses with its particularly flexible equipment. OS A Multispectral
The multispectral imaging option transforms any Zeutschel OS A1 or OS A XL/XXL system into a fully integrated, high-performance multispectral capture platform.
Existing production environments can be upgraded without changing established workflows. At the same time, the system continues to operate as a standard 100 MP OS A scanner for everyday digitisation, allowing users to switch between conventional and multispectral imaging with a single mouse click.
Powered by the Fujifilm GFX100 II IR camera, advanced optical filtering ensures exceptionally clean spectral band separation for maximum image fidelity across ultraviolet, visible, and infrared wavelengths. The GFX100 II IR supports true colour capture in 4- and 16-Shot Mode on the fly to produce interpolation free, high-resolution, true-colour images, ensuring maximum detail and image fidelity. Built on the CHARISMA-compliant multiband imaging methodology, the system delivers standardised, repeatable, and scientifically validated capture from UV through VIS to IR, making it ideal for cultural heritage preservation, archives, research, and forensic applications.
The OS-AW – The Wall
The Zeutschel “OS A W”, also known as “The Wall”, is an innovative workflow solution specially designed for the digitisation of artworks and historical documents in both museums and for cultural heritage photographers.
The system enables the secure, precise and efficient reproduction of images, paintings and other cultural assets directly from the raw camera data and meets the highest archiving standards (ISO-19264-1, FADGI, Metamorfoze). In combination with the OmniScan software and the “The Wall” module, the system offers a range of tools that meet the highest quality standards and optimise the efficiency of the digitisation process.
- One Click Calibration: This simple calibration function captures all relevant scene parameters (light setting, scale, geometry) using a calibration target and automatically corrects distortion, colours and light gradients, with just one click. - Advanced image optimisation: OmniScan enables the creation of scene-specific camera raw profiles and offers OECF (Opto-Electronic Conversion Function) correction for perfect greyscale.
